This continent has two main coffee producing countries: the Indonesia and the Yemen. We could also include New Guinea, since it lies at the edge of the continents of Asia and Oceania. The Indonesia is an archipelago of 13,000 islands stretching between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific. Here exists a hot and humid climate throughout the year. Coffee plantations are located mainly on the island of Java. As for Yemen, it is a country that occupies the southeast of the Arabian peninsula, on the edge of the Red Sea. It is contended that the Yemenis were the first coffee growers.
